The City of Lansing is a diverse community with over 114,000 residents. For the past 120 years, the LPD has been a leader in innovative policing; a founder and believer of Community Policing. Community engagement is paramount to policing. We will continue to work together with our neighborhoods, businesses and schools to build strong community partnerships that help keep our City safe.
